Okay, let's dive a little deeper than just the surface-level stuff. Yes, I'm 26, male, and from the US. But who am I really? I'm a passionate guy with a lot of interests and a big heart. I believe in treating people with respect and kindness, and I value open communication and honesty in any relationship, be it romantic or platonic. I'm definitely a nerd at heart; I love video games, especially strategy and RPGs, and I can easily spend hours lost in a good book (fantasy and sci-fi are my jams!). I also enjoy board games, comic books, and a good deep conversation about anything from philosophy to the latest Marvel movie. I'm always eager to learn new things and expand my horizons.
My liberal values are important to me. I believe in social justice, equality, and making the world a better place for everyone. I'm looking for someone who shares similar values or at least is open to discussing different perspectives respectfully. I think it's important to be with someone who sees the world in a similar way, especially when it comes to core beliefs. However, I'm also a big believer in having respectful disagreements and learning from each other.
Being active is a huge part of my life. I play hockey regularly, which is a fantastic outlet for stress and a great way to stay in shape. I'm also a big fan of other sports, both playing and watching. Beyond hockey, I enjoy hiking, biking, and just generally being outdoors. I'm looking for someone who appreciates an active lifestyle, whether that means joining me on adventures or just cheering me on from the sidelines. So, what am I actually looking for? Ideally, I'm searching for someone who could be my person. That deep connection where you just click, you know? I value genuine connection, vulnerability, and the ability to laugh together, even at ourselves. Of course, finding “the one” is a big ask, and I’m definitely open to starting with friendship first. Sometimes the best relationships grow organically from a solid foundation of friendship.
Beyond the romantic aspect, I'm also genuinely interested in making new friends. Moving to a new city can be tough, and expanding my social circle is definitely a priority for me.
